Playthings
A secured collection of shapes about insecurities. The biggest weakness on full display. Aspects that represent ones self, whether we want them to or not. Things to be remembered for, not by. Mere objects that, after the fun has been spent, are put down and permanently affixed to the wall as an ornament of time. These are Playthings.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Playthings evolves from symbolism in past experiences.
Symbolic of times and places from lived
experiences, they indicate lessons learned.
Finding patterns among those experiences and cataloguing them in a visual manner.
Turning those experiences into a geometric spectacle of angles, curves, and colour.
Alike the source material, much of their arrangement is ambiguous.
